Islam As a Way Of Life: Introduction

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

"Verily, all praise is due to Allah. It is due to Him, and to Him alone. We praise Him and we seek His help and forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our own selves and from the evil of our actions. And whomsoever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him, and whomsoever Allah leads astray none can guide him aright. I testify that there is no god worthy of worship except Allah, alone with no partner, and I testify that Muhammad (SAWS) is His slave and messenger. Indeed the best speech is the book of Allah, and the best guidance is that of Muhammad (SAWS). The worst affairs are the newly invented matters, for every newly invented matter is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire."

I know I have been MIA of late, been really busy and had some pressing commitments but Alhamdhulillah I'm officially done. My sincere apologies for keeping you all waiting. On today's topic I wanna look at Islam as a way of life. This is a very long topic and Inshallah I will make it into a mini-series which will be more flowy (I know that is not a word but as you will come to know by reading this blog I tend to invent words that I think should be words and would make soo much more sense than their alternative)! Sorry I am transgressing.

Anyway, I was saying I will look at every aspect of society and how it is intergrated in Islam. For the purpose of proving that Islam is indeed a way of life.
Side note: so how did you guys find the video's by Khalid Yaseen? Should I continue with the videos or nay?? Let me know. It would be great to get some feedback, advice, anything inshallah! Jazakhallah khair!

Enough with all that... Now, as I was saying before, it is a common practise for people to try and separate their religion and their day to day life. This series is to provide you with empirical and anecdotal evidence of how the Qur'an and the Hadeeths of the Prophet PBUH encourage Muslims to not partition their lives in terms of worship, work, family, socialisation etc. Rather, integrate all and do everything for the sake of Allah and get rewards for doing it. Inshallah as I said earlier, I shall start with women and Islam. So....brace yourselves for some hard truths!!:)

Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.
