This page will be dedicated to educating each other on supplications (Du'as), lectures, and lessons on various things that new muslims might want to know about e.g. How to perform wudhu (abolution), or  how to pray. So Inshallah your contribution will be highly appreciated.

 It will change every week Inshallh so we can get us much from it as possible.

So this weeks we will look at the basics.

When starting something, You say:

"Bismi-llāhi r-raḥmāni r-raḥīm"

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

When Meeting a Muslim, You HAVE to say:

As-salamu 'alaykum"

May Allah's Peace be upon you.

When you plan for the future, you say:

"Inshallah"

If Allah Wills.

When the name of the Prophet is mentions you HAVE to say:

"Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam"

May the Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon Him.

When leaving the house one should say:

"Bismillahi tawakkaltu alal-lahi wa la hawla wa la quwwata 'illa billah"

In the Name of Allah, I trust in Allah and there is no strength nor power except with Allah.

When you enter the home, you say:

"Bismillahi walajna wa bismillahi kharajna wa 'ala Rabbina tawakkalna"

In the name of Allah, we enter, and in the name of Allah we leave, and we trust in Our Lord.

When someone does something good for you, you say:

"Jazakallahu khayra"

May Allah give you a better reward.

When you see something pleasing:

"Mashallah, La quwwata illa billah"

This is what Allah has willed, there is no power except with Allah.

When sneezing ALWAYS say:

"Alhamdhu Lillah"

All Praise be to Allah.

And in reply someone says:

"Yarhamukallah"

May Allah bestow His Mercy in you.

And then, You reply:

"Yadheekumullahu wa yuslihu balakum"

May Allah guide you and set right all your affairs.
